Delete your account and data

You can delete your Kotatabi account and everything linked to it at any time. This page explains how, and what gets removed.

The fastest way: in the app

Open Kotatabi and sign in.
Go to Settings.
Open the Danger zone, tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately and is permanent. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.

Or ask us by email

If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address linked to your Kotatabi account. The button below pre-fills the subject line for you.

Request data deletion

Please include the email address associated with your account. We'll confirm by replying to that address, complete the deletion within 30 days, and send a final confirmation when it's done.

What gets deleted

Your account and profile - email address, display name and appearance.
Your learning data - decks, cards, reviews, progress, achievements and cosmetics.
Your social data - friendships, activity and comments.
Decks you published to Explore, plus media you uploaded.
Your Pro subscription is cancelled immediately.

Settings stored only on your device are removed when you sign out or uninstall the app. If you never signed in, there is no account data on our servers to delete. For the full picture, see our Privacy & Terms.
